Gift Art: Erf and Waltz

Every once in a while I feel like saying hello to people I haven't spoken to in a long time. I find the best way for artists to speak to one another is through gift art.

and I haven't spoken in a while because we both got these things called "lives" a while back, so I decided to make this little thing. Sephi, even though we haven't said hi in a while, I want'cha t'know were still friends and that you're still one of my favorite artists.

Other Details:
This was fuuuuun. I always love 's character designs and this is probably the fourth time I've gotten to draw her main, Erf(idel), and the first time with this new character, Waltz. I decided to revisit my Katanagatari based style and push it beyond what I've done with it in the past. I was worried at first, because I've usually used simpler designs in the past with it, but it seemed to work fine in the end.

I drew Waltz in the back looking sort'a miffed/distrusting. I heard the basic story for the characters, but that was 3 years ago. All I know is that every RPG I've ever played suggests that Waltz is the guy in the party who is going to backstab the hell out of us, but I don't know if that's canon to him. You'll just have to ask the artist!

Also, those notes don't correspond to anything, hence no...Clef or whatever sheet music has (haven't played an instrument in 11 years).
